Twice a finalist for the Bram Stoker Award, Larry Santoro has been writing since he was five.
As story supervisor and associate producer of the syndicated television series, "Hyde & Seeke," he wrote, directed and supervised production throughout the half-hour series' first season.
In 2001, his novella "God Screamed and Screamed, Then I Ate Him” was Stoker nominated. His audio adaptation of Gene Wolfe's "The Tree Is My Hat," was presented live at the WORLD HORROR CONVENTION in 2002. Directed and produced by Santoro, the production featured best-selling authors Neil Gaiman and Gahan Wilson. His script for "Tree..." was his second Stoker nomination.
In 2003 Larry’s Stoker-recommended "Catching" received Honorable Mention in the 17th Annual Year's Best Fantasy and Horror anthology. His "So Many Tiny Mouths" was cited in the anthology’s 18th edition.
In 2007 his story “Cordwell’s Book” will appear in TALES FROM THE RED LION, “Little Girl Down the Way,” will be published in HELL IN THE HEARTLAND from Annihilation Press, his novella, “Wind Shadows,” will appear in the anthology AIM FOR THE HEAD and “At Angels 16” will be in A DARK AND DEADLY VALLEY.
Larry’s first novel, “Just North of Nowhere,” was published by Annihilation Press in 2007.
Married to Tycelia Mary White, the love of his life, Larry lives and works in Chicago.
